The study initiated by Lea Gassab as a student project in Onur Pusuluk’s Quantum Biology course has been published today in the Physical Review A. According to Lea’s findings, there seems to be a potential relationship between the tetrahedral geometry, ranging from water molecules to NV centers and even phosphate molecules in the Posner model, and the geometric optimization of quantum coherence lifetime.
