Our second publication in the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology is now available!

In collaboration with Lea Gassab, Marco Cattaneo, and Özgür Müstecaplıoğlu, we set out to build a rigorous scientific framework for discussing some highly speculative quantum consciousness models through the lens of quantum information theory. Given how easily pseudoscientific (and even outright junk science) elements can creep into this topic, we approached it with particular caution.

We also explored the ubiquity of tetrahedral geometry in nature and its potential advantages over other geometries in preserving quantum coherence and entanglement within spin networks. Furthermore, we proposed a theoretical explanation for this advantage in the context of non-Markovianity.
